NOTES: Coleman Advocates is seeking an organizer dedicated to building the power of young people of

color and to building a movement for racial and economic justice in San Francisco. Responsibilities

include:  Recruit and retain a membership base of young people at target high schools; build the

leadership and skills of youth members and leaders through workshops, one-on-ones, and campaign

activities; build a youth-led movement for education equity/quality public schools for all; Support

youth leadership in citywide Coleman campaigns, including annual electoral organizing and city budget

advocacy. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years experience as a youth organizer in a membership

organization; A strong desire to build the leadership of young people of color in SF public schools,

especially in the Southeast; A commitment to improving the lives of poor and working class families of
