Can You Find Two Hours a Week To Change A Child's Life? If you are interested in working one-on-one with at risk children in San Francisco, you may want to contact The College-Bound Foundation(CBF). CBF pairs volunteer Tutors with students living in San Francisco Public Housing. Each Tutor works in partnership with a Learning Coach and agrees to meet with an assigned child once a week for one year. The time and devotion provided by you and the Learning Coach helps to focus and motivate the student,often averting bad life decisions and enhancing academic performance. As a Tutor you will focus on one of the core subjects that the child is struggling in. You will also be in partnership with the teacher and in some cases a school counselor. The program is ideal for busy people because tutor-student meetings can be scheduled for weekends or evenings. We have students on a waiting list. Please choose CBF!
