Paid Internships for San Francisco Youth
New Door Ventures offers paid internships for young people seeking job training and work experience through two programs:
Ally interns have the opportunity to work for 12 weeks at one of many different businesses in San Francisco, after completing a 3-week program orientation.
Switch interns work for 6 months in one of New Door’s two social enterprises – Pedal Revolution, a bike shop, or Ashbury Images, a screen printing company.
- vWhat are the eligibility requirements?
- 17 – 21 years old
- Must have a photo ID and Social Security card
- Able to work 12-20 hours per week
- Meet low-income requirements

Excelsior Volunteer Opportunity
EXCELSIOR COMMUNITY CENTER FOOD BANK VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The ECC has a food bank every Wednesday and they are looking for volunteers. If you volunteer 3 times or more you can put it on your resume and they will be a reference.
