Nintendo Switch

Nintendo's anticipated home console, the Switch, dropped on March 3rd, and has so far seemed to live up to the hype. Consoles are flying off the shelves, and reviewers love its innovativeness. Unlike most gaming consoles, the Switch is a hybrid console- it can work as both a home console and portable device. It can be undocked and games can be played on the go. The controller can also be split into smaller, portable controllers that can wirelessly communicate with each other and with the console. Pretty impressive hardware. But what about games?

By far, the most notable game on the Switch is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has recieved perfect scores on Gamespot, IGN, Famitsu... and basically everywhere else. There isn't a single place that's given it a score less than 9.5/10. People are saying that it's one of the best games ever made.

There aren't many games out for the Switch right now besides Breath of the Wild, but others are slated to come out like Splatoon 2 and Fire Emblem: Warriors, inlcuding ports of popular third-party titles like Skyrim and Disgaea 5.
