Google's "I'm Feeling Curious" - Is it Gone?

Starting in September 2015, Google implemented an “I’m Feeling Curious” feature on their search engine’s home page. You would access this under the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button which cycles through many of Google’s “I’m Feeling” features, sometimes landing on the “Curious” one, or you could’ve looked up “I’m Feeling Curious” (“fun fact” also works) itself and get the same effect.

This feature, when used, pulled up a random fact in the form of a question and its answer, linking the site which Google got this information from. After the initial fact, you would be able to click a blue button with “ASK ANOTHER QUESTION” in white text. As the name implies, you’d be given a new question and answer.

It reached a peak popularity of 100 from June 16-18 in 2018, according to Google Trends.

This feature has entertained many during the time it was active, but right now, it’s dead. That doesn’t mean it’s not being used anymore, you just can’t use it anymore. Google has given no explicit explanation for the disabling/malfunction of this feature. Looking at the Google search help page, the “I’m Feeling Curious” feature has not been working since at least mid-October this year. I and many others, hope for an explanation of why it doesn't work and for its revival.
