He stated that he would need to reconsider his position as a placeholder if he did not accept that. The San Francisco twitter board will eventually evaluate Elons offer. The directors carefully review the proposal to determine the best course of action around the proposal. Inside Twitter, things were taking a different turn. Many employees felt shaken by the news over the last day. Elon Musk wished to purchase the company and shape it to his image. To re-assure employee concerns, Twitter management called an emergency meeting at 2 pm on Thursday, led by Parag Agrawal, The company's chief executive accordion to five employees who were authorized not to disclose the topic.
