Juilliard School Rejection of Alex Webber sent A-lot of his fans in An Outrage

If you haven't been keeping up with the past few weeks, you are missing a lot of drama amidst the internet. Axel Weber, a 22-year-old, documented his application into a prestigious university named Juilliard University. He documented his lifestyle in New York in a tik tok video filming his small apartment. However, when he applied for Juilliard and got the news of him potentially getting admitted to a 7% acceptance rate, He took it upon himself to share the world about his rejection. Rejections are always too difficult to deal with because you spent a great deal of time trying to go to this university. Many people took upon social media to bombard Juilliard, a university known for a private performing arts conservatory in New York city. Established in 1905, the school trains about 850 undergraduate and graduate students in dance, drama, and music. It is widely regarded as one of the world's leading drama, music, and dance schools. They wrote and spammed Juilliard's comments to get him into the university, flooding their comments with Alex's support.

However, recently things have come about on the surface why the school didn't take him seriously. A twitter user has found his acting portfolio and found no acting experience or other skills other than riding a bicycle. Alex also stated that this was the first time he wanted to act, and the reason why he moved to New York City was because of Experience. Some people have already commented that the rejection letter was needed because Julliard is one of the most challenging schools to get into, and to get in, you have to build your portfolio on your niche, what you did, what events you have done, what plays have you participated in. Not only is he popular on TikTok, massing over 2.1million followers. He is also competing with hundreds of thousands of students who want to be in Julliard. His acting portfolio is empty, and he has 0 experience in the acting field. After being rejected by Juilliard, tons of brands have sponsored him, contacted him, and even managed to land him a modeling gig. What does this all mean? Besides having no experience in acting, he had developed many other opportunities ever since that rejection for the sole reason of doing the bare minimum. Many students get rejected daily and do not get to have that much opportunity when they apply to their top schools. Many have pointed out that Alex Webber had gained this opportunity simply due to his white privilege. He did the bare minimum and still managed to land the biggest NYC modeling agency, which is one of the marvelous things and getting invited into influencer parties. While there are mixed reactions to this event, many support him due to his charismatic personality and positive attitude. Many people share their frustrations and dislike about this situation. What do you think? Does Alex Webber deserve to get accepted in Julliard? Or does getting a rejection letter is well deserved.
