New Trailer for Jurassic World has Dropped

Hey everyone! An official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion just dropped. This is the last chapter of the outstanding Jurassic Park franchise trilogy. Jurassic World Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow and filmed during the pandemic. Heads up, it will be released on June 10, so mark your calendars.

Are you wondering how the dinosaurs survive and thrive in the snow? Well, there's plenty of that in this new installment to the $5 billion franchise.

More than that, we have a Jurassic Park star returning in this franchise - Jeff Goldblum! He points out, "We're racing toward the extinction of our species." "We not only lack dominion over nature," he adds, "We're subordinate to it."

Not only are Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Daniella Pineda (Dr.Zia), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), Omar Sy (Barry), Justice Smith (Franklin) back, but there are other original Jurassic Park characters as well, Sam Neill (Dr. Alan Grant), Laura Dern (Dr. Ellie Sattler), and BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu).

That's not all; we also have new cast members Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2), and Scott Haze (Minari).

A world where humans and dinosaurs must coexist

Jurassic World Dominion takes place four years after their adventure in Isla Nublar. Dinosaurs have free rein all over the world. This delicate balance will reshape the future and answer the question, who will be the apex predators - humans or dinosaurs?

The trailer shows how humans are adjusting to the new environment. Humans are obviously in danger from the dinosaurs as much as the dinosaurs are under threat from humans. The trailer shows Grady and his trainers chasing a group of Parasaurolophus across a snowy landscape. Also, a scene showing people in awe as enormous but passive dinosaurs roam about.

As expected, there are some thrilling action scenes featuring the famous Velociraptors and the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Grady, Dearing, and others try to protect themselves from the more dangerous Allosaurus and Quetzalcoatlus (the flying dinosaur). Grady is chased by a dinosaur that looks like a Velociraptor in one scene. There is also a glimpse of the Mosasaurus in the oceans and a vicious dinosaur than the T-Rex.

The new trailer also teases several fan-favorite moments from the original trilogy. One of them is where Grady and Grant together remark "don't move" to the rest of the group as an apex predator emerges from the forests.

"Bigger, why do they always have to go bigger?!" remarks Malcolm as the trailer ends.
