Streets Music Video Was Amazing!

The streets MV for Doja Cat has given us a phenomenal outtake of what the song means, I think streets is one of my top 5 songs that I like from her Hotpink album but let's not lie about the looks she was giving us during that production. There are so many things to unpack here but first we'll discuss Streets being the most anticipated video to come out. It does pay an homage to the silhouette challenge which gained popularity on TikTok. Just like Say So Doja has been incorporating viral things on Tiktok to her videos to pay for what it trended in the first place. I think that was very interesting to me because most artist when their song goes viral on a challenge they don't really throw in an easter egg after that. It was cute!

Then it transitions to them in the store together, and share a moment together and then a car explodes and it transitions to Doja with the car with the rain pouring down on her while guys come up on the ground trying to get her. These could be reference to the fact that all the men she has been in there is no man like him in her line “I can't find one like you”

And it transitions to the Guy getting abducted by a spider and trapped in webs. These could be a metaphor doing what it takes to keep him on her side but she's also trapped in her webs. Then it ends with the world blowing up or basically the world ending with him and her. Then it snaps back to reality as soon as it end as Doja is going to a place somewhere. I think this song is a fun song to listen to and really addicting with its mellow beat and chorus, it’s a song that has a vibe.
